Sustainability
HQ Nights Christmas Parties, are committed to creating a positive, environmental, social, and economic impact through our events. By integrating sustainability into our core operations and supporting a Charity of the Year, we aim to lead by example and inspire others in our industry to join us in making a difference. In today’s world, ensuring our events are sustainable isn’t just a ‘trend’, it is essential. We see each event as an opportunity to make a positive impact and to showcase our commitment to a healthier planet. Thriving to make sure our events are mindful of our world, isn’t just the responsible choice, it’s the most rewarding one. So here is just an overview of the small steps we are taking to minimise our impact to the environment.
Keep It Local
We always try to source everything as locally as we can. This helps to keep all mileage as low as possible.
This includes (but is not limited to!):
Opting for locally sourced food and drinks.
Hiring local staff.
Using local suppliers.
Encouraging lift sharing.
Supporting companies to use coaches for transport to and from events. And helping to make this as easy a choice as possible.
Reduce Waste
We aim to reduce wastage wherever possible and promote recycling / reusable products as much as we can.
For ‘rubbish’ that needs to be disposed of, we have robust recycling programme making sure what can be recycled is!
At our events, we purchase ‘props’ that can be used more than once, simply upcycling them for the following year wherever we can.
Our Caterers have a similar focus on sustainability and limiting the damage to the environment, you can read their Sustainability Policy Here.
